astros+130 i will take a shot with them cards bp has been over worked and morris will have to go deep into game. also miller is a better pitcher then he has showen if he does have another bad outing then you start to look for something wrong with the wing or groin.

marlins+130 hate there bp but also like to player against pitchers coming off dl,fl gives braves fits in fl and i think pitching match up is even so why not take a shot with the home dog going against a pitcher coming of dl,and what he has can flair up at anytime its a nerve not a muscle so you really can't say its right or not,and maddux is going to say he is fine hell he said that last week and you could see he was in pain trying to do flat ground work,if it hurts on flat work there is way more stress coming off mound at an angle with pressure on back side.

good luck

Eric,

Wholeheartedly agree with the Fish tonite... was thinking exactly the same thing....

Disagree with the Stros tho.... I think there is already something wrong with Miller (hope I'm wrong tho, as I have him on a couple of fantasy teams)...

Good Luck tonite

Miller has had a couple rough starts locating his fastball....his stuff is good as ever.....should break out of it.....i will watch closely tonight though and see if i notice anything -- which my untrained eyes are likely not to be able to do....lol

Fletch.......

Fletch.......

I have to really disagree with you here under the basis that your betting the STROS because the CARDS BULLPEN is OVERWORKED? This is not true.......The CARDS have a VERY deep BP.......Only one person to my knowledge has been used TOO MUCH and that is DAVE VERES with 8.1 IP and possibly Stechschulte.....That leaves us with 5 more pitchers who all have the capability of being the set-up guy or closer.....We have Timlin, Hackman, Isringhausen, Kline and Mathews with 6 IP or LESS.....The last time MORRIS faced the STROS they won 8-4 BUT he didnt have his GOOD STUFF at all......He was only throwing the rock around 90-91 mph and threw a 6-hitter....AMAZING!!!! If MORRIS is on tonight you will see a 94-95 mph fast ball while back dooring them with a 78 mph that drop off the table and the STROS will be dead in the water....I guess we will see......Duncan has done a very good job in rotating the pitchers but I think that IZZY will start seeing more innings...you watch.....Later E

dont know how much weather has to do with anybodys capping but was raining pretty much all day up until a couple of hours ago here in st louis. morris is tough at busch. if i was going to go against the cards pen maybe wait until next week. from april 15-28 the cards are on the road play 13 games in 14 days on the road with a couple of the cards pitchers not being able to go 5 or 6 innings most of the time i could see the pen getting overused and being a good go against they play arizona-milwaukee-mets-montreal on that road trip just something maybe to look at.
