Fletch>>>Ive been coming to Jacks here for years..Everyone on the Net knows me as RDAVIS but this screenname goes way back..Anyways I see you talk alot about the schools I played at..I played at Fairmont State College and Glenville State in West Virginia..I was wondering if we may know each other..I pitched there in 81-83....Played Rookie ball in Bakersfield with LA..Couple good friends of mine played at Wesleyen..I played with Joe Retton,Ron Whiting and the guys at Fairmont...Joes dad is a legend of course in Foots in WV...Played for Ollie Potmeyer at Glenville..Im from Northern WV...Drop me a line if you get a chance and let me know..Thanks....BOB

Bob write jack and he will send you my email,we have to know each other i am great friends with catman(ron whiting) insted of joe retton i think you played with my cousin ronny,my uncle joe's sons are daivd and steve,dave played hoops and is 8 years younger then me and steve didnot play,but my uncle joe is in the top wins for coach's in the naia,hell he could still take the court,and if you played with those guys we had to play together at somepoint or i am sure we have crossed paths,bucky davis,ray bonnett,dave carvalano,mark oliver randy toth any of those names ring a bell or dan kupets. anyway drop me a line,have a house in fl new smyrna beach,lived in st.augustine for a long time flagler alum. also send number in jville would love to talk.

just read post again you said n.wv,i was thinking you were talking about my uncle joe joe that was from fairmont,but i bet you mean the one from brooke county up by wellsburgh and follensbee let me know if that is it.

Eric>>.Im sure we have to know of each other..Im from Clarksburgh -Bridgeport area..I played(pitched) against Follensbee one year for Babe Ruth Championship..Played em in Williamsburgh..So you are related to Rettons huh..Its been a long time since Ive seen any of em..I heard Ron Whiting was basketball coach now and Ronnie(fire hydrant) was baseball coach..They were in town here playing UNF one year..I still get em all confused...I tell everyone I helped send Mary lou to olympics because I donated for her when she had a little donation box in Mc Donalds..Im sure you know of Bridgeport..Coach Jamison was BIG TIME highschool football coach in the state..We won a couple State titles back in the 70s when I was there..We had a big rivalry with Fairmont East Bees..Damn brings back old times for sure..Ill get with Jack and get your addy....Bob

we had to play aganst each other i was at west 76-80 played against todd faulks,sean hill a big running back and john matheny and a few others,will write you in the am and send number,fairmont did come down and play unf,flagler and a few others,donny was the head coach and ronny was his asst. i was at polk cc then coaching in winter haven. just got you email will write in the am and send my number out here.
