cards-210 4*
a's-179 3*
braves-230 3*
i see the word allot of people love the value word being used already in the braves game,i would say look at your mba, they is over a 12 men per base difference. not from a handicapping standpoint but from a coaching side of it this is a huge slant to one side, mont had there day in the sun against maddux this year. so just look alittle deeper.braves need to win series at home after dropping the one tp tb,if you want to win the div,you must win series at home against weak teams.

Have to agree with the atl analysis. It may be big chalk but Maddux is in a groove. If you can't play the braves then lay off. Throwin money away on expos IMO. Maddux is dialed in for sure. Look for 100 piches and 75 of them strikes. When he is on he is the best.

Maddux 7-1 at turner field this year 1.99 e.r.a.

Last 9 starts 8-0 2.43 e.r.a

no walks last 5 games.

well i guess those numbers don't justify a line of -220 soon to be about -260.

those 3 are just dinamite, the cream of the crop of today's card. i would not dare touch the dog on any of them. they look as much of a l--- (hate to use the word) as you will ever see.

hope it's a happy one for you and my dogs.

Fletcher (or should I say, Coach):

Thanks for giving us your take today on the ATL game from a coach's perspective...

...not from a handicapping standpoint but from a coaching side of it this is a huge slant to one side...so just look alittle deeper. braves need to win series at home after dropping the one tp tb,if you want to win the div,you must win series at home against weak teams.

Too often we get so caught up in our stats, trends, weather and whatnot and overlook that it's baseball we're taking about. That sometimes you just gotta use good ol' fashioned baseball horse sense when looking to make a play or not.

I was gonna shy away from ATL today because of the heavy chalk, but your comments about if you want to win the division, you gotta win at home against the weaker opponent helped me into making it a play today. On the face of it, such an obvious thing (sort of a "duhh")...but sometimes the obvious things are overlooked. No way was Bobby Cox gonna alow this one to be dropped.

Thanks Coach,

-dc

Fletch, what I meant was do you find it better by betting different amounts per game vs.betting the same amount per game no matter how many games you play? That is what I was trying to say, about different amounts instead of the way I try it by sticking (to a regimented and sometimes boring)system.Thanks,Spanky.Only when you have time as i'm very curious...

Fletch,

I have been watching the relationship between the * rating of your plays and the moneyline on the individual games and your money management is impressive. I've learned a lot from watching the way you "stack" your plays.

Thanks,

Spanky...here is Fletcher's money management system:
"fletcher"

"no my star system for baseball was put up 3times last year and twice this year once for new people at the start.......
1*=500
2*=1000
3*2000
4*3000
and the only time i lay odds i post it as 3300/3000
ifnot you take 3000 divided by 1.40 if the line is 140 for the win and that is the payoff,if it loses then it is - 3000."

i was kind of puzzled by your reply, but decided to leave it at that, not really sure what was going on.

as for the good luck part, i don't know about you, but i crashed yesterday and i'm in the middle of a real tough streak, going 1-5 in the last 3 days or so, minus 4.1 units.

well, there is always tomorrow.
