You know --

Joe Montana, two MVPS.

Steve Young, two MVPS.

Rich Gannon, a 15 year journeyman comes out of nowhere the last two years and becomes MVP.

Anyone else think that just maybe throwing to the best receiver ever to play the game might have something to do with all this?

Quarterbacks get VERY accurate when receivers get VERY open.

Just want to give Jerry Rice what he deserves.

[besides, Favre or Holmes should have got this year anyway...]

RICE IS GREAT. GANNON IS NOT THE GREATEST,BUT HE DOES A VERY GOOD JOB WITH WHAT HE HAS. HE DOES NOT HAVE A GREAT ARM, BUT SPREADS THE BALL AROUND TO MANY RECEIVERS. HE DOES NOT HAVE THE GREAT COMEBACK ABILITY OF A BRETT FAVRE,BUT LOOK AT HIS EXCELLENT TD TO INT RATING. HE USUALLY MANAGES THE GAME WELL, AND DOES NOT PUT OAKLAND BEHIND. I HOPE THIS TREND CONTINUES. AS I AFORE MENTIONED- RICE IS GREAT.
