NEW SPORTS GAMING REGULATIONS

Some one out there has legitimate explanations for some of this crap. I miss some opportunities during the season because I can't always get a hold of my local. I was looking forward to legal sports betting when it arrived. BUT...

States have implemented this geofence when they passed their new sports gambling laws. This means you must be within the state confines when making a wager. I am a property owning taxpaying resident of the state. I leave for several days on business or just for a weekend to visit my daughter or see a game and I can NOT access to make a wager.
What is the goal of this ?

Another gem ! Don't laugh about this.
You have to get the "APP" for your phone in order to access your account and make a wager. I have a computer at home and a laptop in my car. Why do I need to buy a smart phone just to have this app ? Why am I not able to access an account on my laptop and wager thru that ?

Some condescending punk at William Hill said we didn't make the rules. He neglected to admit knowing the answer was way above his pay grade.

Anyway- Jack has the smartest people I know when it comes to sports wagering so I figure someone will have answers.

There use to be apps you could change your location of your phone if it was an jailbroken iphone, but I am not sure if they still exist and/or will get by the sports app for the casinos. Its super annoying while traveling in Nov/Dec for the holidays though I will agree.

There are some other versions, but once its jailbroken there are is an "app store" called Cydia you use.

There are a few different apps but this will have you guys down the right path.

If you want to reverse jailbreak you just reset back to what you backed up.

As I said im not sure it will get by the sports app, but it gets by fb, twitter, netflix and others.

You don?t own a smartphone or have multiple offshores? :facepalm:

If I recall you?re in Iowa as well, right?

Here in eastern Iowa the casinos are pairing up with some outfit called elite sports for their mobile betting.
They offer pretty much everything the offshores do, but I?m seeing way too many lines not having the hook that the sharp shops are offering.
I haven?t set up an account yet because you?re required to go to the casino, get a players card and then set up your mobile wagering account and that sounds like way too much work when I can use bitcoin to deposit to my offshore accounts right from my phone when needed.
