I don't know much about capping hockey, but Nick Douglas says Germany and Czech both play the NZT. If he's correct, and if Czech isn't great in breaking it, I see some nice value in Germany +2.5 (+115) at SIA or Germany +1.5 (+170) at Carib.
Or is Czech just gonna spank 'em?
I'd like to hear from any more knowledgeable hockey cappers. I know the trap can slow a game down and make it low scoring, but what I don't know is if Czech has the right personnel to break it effectively. It seems like breaking the NZT is one of those plays that requires some good teamwork, and knowing where your guys are going to be, whereas playing it is much more of keying on the right guy and being at the right spot on the ice. That is, breaking it seems like a play that requires more ice time together than this team could possibly have had.
Thanks for any opinions.
