Gerogia Tech player will be arrested.

I don't know if the guy plays much or not, but there is a hearing aginst him this afternoon. He head-butted my roommate in a bar Saturday night and was carted off in handcuffs.

If he does play, I assume he will not be this weekend.

Also, this guy is their leading Tight end. He was not in the fight and will not have any legal actions against him, but he could be suspended by the team. Just a possibility.

Just a little information to pass along.

I would rather have a story about beating up one of Tech's players with about 5 buddies! I mean c'mon the guy is 6'7" 290........it would be fun to try anyway!

I wasn't there, but according to the story, there wasn't much time to do much of anything. The guy had been causing trouble elsewhere in the bar, so the cops wer already watching him. He grabbed my friend's hat (of course wearing a Georgia hat) and threw it across the bar. He stood up and asked the guy to go get his hat (he was talking to his belly-button), the guy said something to the effect that this was a Georgia Tech bar and headbutted him. The cops (most late-night bars in Atlanta have them somewhere on the premisise) were ready to stop it before it got ugly. I imagine that it would have gotten real ugly since there were about 10-12 GTech players there. Even though they play for a shitty program, those guys are huge. 6'7"-290 would be pretty intimidating. My friends are bigger than myself and our in great shape, but it would have been a bloodbath (and not good for the hometeam).

Oh well.
