237-252-9(-19.90 Units) Overall
45-48-1(-8.25 Units) w/Best Bets
Houston Astros -130(Best Bet)*
UNDER 10.5(Houston Astros@Texas Rangers)
*-With only 1(One) affair being contested on this "Get Away" Thursday, thought I'd provide a few reasons for my 2(Two) selections. Looks like there is a lot of love for the Rangers tonight just like the OVER was in Tuesday's MLB All-Star Game. Pitching Match-Up definitely favors the Home Team with Ranger's Ace Lance Lynn on the Hill against the 'Stros TBA. Houston will probably recall Framber Valdez(LH) from AAA Round Rock who is 3-4 with a 4.57ERA in his time with the 'Stros this Season. However, he pitched very well late last Season, 4-1 with a 2.19ERA, boosting the Staring Rotation just in time for the Playoffs. Rangers are 13-16(.225 Team Average) against Left-Handed Starters this Season. Lance Lynn is having a "Career Year" so far in the 2019 Campaign(11-4 with a 3.91ERA) winning his last 4 starts in a row. He has however lost his last 3 decisions against Houston & his last 5 starts vs. the 'Stros have UNDER the posted Total. Team-Wise the 'Stros were playing well before the All-Star Break winning 7 of their last 8 games while the Rangers were just 2-6. Houston won 4 in a row against Texas sweeping & out-scoring the Rangers 33-11 @ Minute Maid Park last May. 'Stros have also enjoyed some success in Games played @ Globe Life Park in Arlington winning 16 of the last 20 games played there. In Divisional Games played so far this year there is a BIG difference between these too Teams Records:
Houston Astros 26-7 vs. Divisional Foes
Texas Rangers 20-22 vs. Divisional Foes
Line smells a bit(Houston -130) especially considering the Pitching Match-Up. Vegas I believe is hoping for a lot of Texas$$$. :yup Think the 'Stros will start the 2nd Half with a victory tonight & my guess is:
Houston Astros 6
Texas Rangers 4
Best of Luck Tonight & in the "2nd Half" MadJackers!!! :0008
