Well, made 55 bucks last night due to a half-hearted effort by the Jays, a washout at old Comiskey and a gem by Tom Glavine.
Looking at three for today:
SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS (Even) Reuter pitched his best game of the year last time out in Cincy, where he showed much better command in throwing 8 shutout innings. Padilla is also pitching much better than his 1-4 record would indicate, but I am really looking for Giants to get the job done today.
TORONTO BLUE JAYS (+160) Yes, even after that pitiful effort yesterday, I am looking for the Blue Jays to bounce back with a big effort tonight. Schilling is 1-5 in his career against Toronto with a 5.73 ERA. It is also interesting to note that Schilling has given up a total of 15 earned runs so far this year - only 4 of those were caused by someone NOT wearing a Toronto uniform. :shrug: Hopefully Batista can repeat his last outing against the White Sox where he showed much better control in getting ahead of the hitters and keep the BoSox in check.
