Sen. Barack Obama, the Democratic presidential candidate, called a news conference to urge changes in what he called the administration's "stubborn inflexibility."

He said Wall Street executives must not be allowed to walk away from the mess with multimillion-dollar severance packages, taxpayers who are bearing the risk of the bailout must benefit if it succeeds and homeowners should be able to get relief from unaffordable mortgages.

Interpretation--its not your fault you took out mortgage you knew you couldn't pay--jump on the bama bandwagon--and as bonus those credit cards you can't pay--i'll take care of them next--

I would hope no wall street executives would be able to walk away with a dime. Hopefully the FBI will find fraud and prosecute.

How did they know they couldn't pay. Maybe their job got transfered to China. If I go ask for a $100,000. loan and they give it to me. It would seem to me they are the ones that fuked up.

This is one of the stupidist things you've posted yet. If you are saying the bailouts are for people of color or in the ghetto, I have news for you DTB..most people in the "ghetto" dont own the homes they live in, if they dont have the money to pay RENT they get evicted, I dont see Obama handing out RENT CHECKS or throwing RENT PARTIES at the local clubs and bars to help the ones being evicted. Instead we have this jackass throwing all the weight on the working man and woman to help dig these companies out of the hole they put themselves in with poor decision making. We cant get a loan if our credit it scratched with one imperfection right now, but the gov't can throw illustrious deals to these companies and keep them above board even though they have terrible history of sustaining the ability to stay above water. Hmmm Socialist spending isnt so bad as long as its not to the poor on the good old boy network watch I see. Bail out the rich and starve the poor!!! Thats how America does it!!! Nice job AGAIN George W. Douche!!! I hope he and everyone of his cronies goes to jail without passing go when this debacle of American history is finally rescued.

Evidently you failed to see UBL ultimadum that Iraq would be their stand against the west--and that we would lose because some wouldn't have the stomach for it. He was wrong on 1st point but certainly correct on 2nd. Fortunately your party wasn't commander and chief.

Maybe Ghetto Abstracts was poor choice of words--but basically only thing O has been involved in the Ill senate--refer to his voting record in Ill.

Don't have party but like to refute the polemic diatribes from both sides. Let me repeat for you, Al Queda wasn't there when we invaded period. And I don't base the foreign policy of the greatest nation on the planet on the ridiculous statements of a terrorist organization.
