GIANTS/MARLINS Under 8 -120 - This game pits two of the most promising young starters in the National League. Beckett has one of the most explosive fastballs you will ever see, and he has now recorded 5 Quality Starts in his last 6 starts overall, lowering his season?s ERA to 3.63. He also has more strikeouts than innings pitched, with 44 punch-outs in 39.2 innings. Moss relies more on his breaking stuff, but that approach is working just fine, as he is 4-0 with an outstanding 2.21 ERA. He has yet to allow more than 3 earned runs in a game this season, and is working on a string of 4 consecutive Quality Starts. Throw in the fact that the Giants are hitting a shocking .239 vs. right-handers on the road, and the Marlins are hitting a mediocre .253 at home, and this one looks like a stone cold Under.
