GIANTS/PADRES Under 8 ?110 - Although Rueter has been ineffective since coming off of the DL, San Diego seems like an ideal team for him to turn things around against. He has been brilliant in his last 6 starts vs. the Padres, all of them Giants victories, posting a remarkable 1.95 ERA in those starts, allowing 1 earned run or less 4 times! At the same time however, San Francisco has not exactly been lighting up the scoreboard lately either, hitting just .241 as a team vs. right-handers in their last 10 games. They face a hot pitcher tonight in Lawrence, who has reeled off 6 consecutive Quality Starts and who has a 2.18 ERA and a fantastic 0.92 ratio in his last 3 outings. Lawrence has also posted Quality Starts in 3 of his 4 career starts vs. the Giants. Add this all up, and I am looking for a low-scoring contest tonight.
