I am officially pissed.....I had a HUGE writeup on this game and when I went to send it, the damn site went down and I lost it. So since I am not writing it again...here is the short version.
1.) I am taking Louisville +14
2.) Both teams have played terrible schedules.
3.) Neither has great quality wins. Louisville beat Syracuse and Cincinnati on the road (YAWN) Miami beat BG twice and Colorado State (Not bad) It can easily be argued that this game is each others greatest test.
4.) Miami has not faced a team that can spread tem out like Louisville can. BG had the ability but did not have the gameplan for it. They ran draws with Harris, screens to Magner and threw to Pope out of the backfield. Not gonna work with this quick front of Miami.
5.) Louisville has the ingredient to score points...one of the best offensive lines in the Nation. Only given up 10 sacks all year, and opens holes for one of the best running attacks in America.
6.) This game is likely to go one of two ways. If you like Miami, you probably should like the under...because it means that Miami had the defense to stuff Louisville.
7.) If you like Louisville, then you like the over. Miami is not likely to be stopped by this defense. The offensive line is too good and the big plays will happen.
8.) But I am betting that Louisville can put up 30-35 points on thier own making it difficult for Miami to cover this one.
