Early plays

I love the over 44 ( 5 units - biggest play of the season for me) in the 'Keystone' state grudge match at Heinz filed today. Both offenses will do some damage. Pitts bosts one of the most dynamic running games in the NFL. There line upfront has simply been amazing all season. They just keep coming at ya, smashing all in its wake. Duuuuucccceeee was a perfect fit coming to the Burgh in the offseason and no matter what he says, he's out to show Phil what they let get away. Yes, I know he has been downgraded to questionable. Don't let that worry you. He'll be ready to play. Phil can and has been run on. This fits perfectly into what has made Pitt so effective this season. Set em up with the run, and kill em with the pass. Phil will be blitz happy. They like to show off there shiny new toy named 'The Freak' AKA Jevon Kearse. No worries, as Big Ben has the ability and skills to move in/out of the pocket escaping trouble and finding any one of the best threesome in the NFL (Plex, Hines, Randle El). Rothlisberger is extremly accurate and makes sound decisions for a rookie. He's the real deal and a steal with the 11th overall pick in last years draft. Phillip who???!! On the other hand, Phil packs a one-two punch of their own with T.O. and McNabb . They should be able to connect for some big plays exposing Pitts reliance on the blitz. Remember, Pitt is starting Willie Williams, basically a cast off from Seattle who was lucky to find a job simply bc he had played under Dick Lebau years back with Pitts in the mid-late 90's and was familiar with the schemes. The Patriots did not have the game plan nor the receivers to exploit this weakness. Phila does and will go to there receivers often. Also, Pitts strugles with mobile QB's. There zone blitz scheme relies on pressuring the QB and quickly. The problem with this is if you have a QB who can evade the initial onslaught, he should and will be able to find receivers streaking downfield. This will be a wide open affair. Both teams will bring their A games. I see a score of something like 34-28. I bleed Black & Gold, so I'm a little biased on who'll win the game. I'll be placing a small wager on Pitts as well @ +1. Good luck.

One other game....

One other game....

I also like Giants over 35.5. Do not usually play totals but see alot of value in this #. Will take it and run for 2 units.
