Pasi Nurminen, Atlanta Thrashers - Nurminen pulled his left groin in last night's game against the Red Wings. Nurminen missed the third period and is listed as day-to-day, but will be re-evaluted tomorrow.

Miikka Kiprusoff, San Jose Sharks - Kiprusoff will be the starter for Sunday's game against the Stars, reports the San Jose Mercury. It will be his third straight in place of a struggling Evgeni Nabokov.

Ron Tugnutt, Dallas Stars - Tugnutt is the probable starter for Sunday's game against the Sharks.

Joe Sakic, Colorado Avalanche - Sakic skated on his own for 15 minutes yesterday and will accompany the team on their three game road trip to continue his rehab. There is no timetable for his return yet, but this is encouraging news.

Jason Arnott, Dallas Stars - Arnott missed practice because of a sore knee, but coach Dave Tippett doesn't believe he will miss any time.

Brad Stuart, San Jose Sharks - Stuart is questionable for Sunday's game against the Stas with the flu.

Chris Chelios, Detroit Red Wings - Chelios returned last night after missing 9 games with a leg injury.

Rotislav Klesla, Columbus Blue Jacket - Klesla missed yesterday's game with the flu. Just another FYI.

Eric Lindros, New York Rangers - Lindros is back in the dog house. Rangers GM Glen Sather even suggested that he might have to move Lindros to the crowd if he doesn't improve. Not good news for the Big E.

Alexei Yashin, New York Islanders - Yashin was punished for his lackluster play as of late with only 9:35 of ice time. Don't expect this to continue as the Isles are battling for a playoff spot and they'll need as much scoring as possible.

Patrik Elias, New Jersey Devils - Elias and linemate Scott Gomez were both benched for the entire third period of last night's game. FYI, just in case you were wondering why their ice time was lower then usual.

Brian Gionta, New Jersey Devils - Gionta returned last night after missing 19 games, but reaggrevated the injury in the first period. X-Rays were negative, but Gionta may miss more time as a precautionary measure.

Valeri Bure, Florida Panthers - Bure was injured in the first period of last night's game against the Capitals. It was a knee on knee collision with Brendan Witt. Bure suggested that it's a mild injury, but don't be surprised if this sidelines him for more than a week.

Jochen Hecht, Buffalo Sabres - Hecht has sat out two straight games with a sprained right wrist and is listed as day-to-day.

Rob Zamuner, Boston Bruins - Zamuner met up with the Bruins team before last night's game. He practiced with the team and suggested that he could be back either Monday or Wednesday. Zamuner has been out of the line up since January 7th with a broken foot.
