Jose Theodore, Montreal Canadiens - Theodore will be the starter for Tuesday's game against the Panthers, reports RDS. We would assume Mathieu Garon would start the next night against the Sabres, but check back tomorrow for possible confirmation.

Curtis Joseph, Detroit Red Wings - Joseph will be the starter for Tuesday's game against the Canucks, reports the Detroit Free Press. CuJo has not fared well against the Canucks this year or in his career, so that's something to keep in mind when considering whether to activate him or not.

Brian Boucher, Phoenix Coyotes - Boucher will be the starter for Tuesday's game against the Blue Jackets, reports the Arizona Republic.

Johan Hedberg, Pittsburgh Penguins - Hedberg will be the starter for Tuesday's game against the Oilers, reports the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Dan Cloutier, Vancouver Canucks - Cloutier is the probable starter for Tuesday's game against the Red Wings.

Ed Belfour, Toronto Maple Leafs - Belfour is the probable starter for Tuesday's game against the Hurricanes.

Tommy Salo, Edmonton Oilers - Salo is the probable starter for Tuesday's game against the Penguins.

Roberto Luongo, Florida Panthers - Luongo is the probable starter for Tuesday's game against the Canadiens. Even though no print source confirmed it, you can bet the French-Canadian Luongo will start in his hometown.

Martin Brodeur, New Jersey Devils - Brodeur is the probable starter for Tuesday's game against the Flyers. Brodeur has let in only one goal in his past 260+ minutes against the Flyers.

Roman Cechmanek, Philadelphia Flyers - Cechmanek is the probable starter for Tuesday's game against the Devils.

Kevin Weekes, Carolina Hurricanes - Weekes is the probable starter for Tuesday's game against the Maple Leafs.

Marc Denis, Columbus Blue Jackets - Denis is the probable starter for Tuesday's game against the Coyotes.

Olaf Kolzig, Washington Capitals - Kolzig suffered a head injury during the late stages of Monday's loss to the Lightning and was unable to finish the game. However, his post-game comments seemed to indicate that he doesn't believe the injury is serious or concussion related which is good news. It is possible that Kolzig may not miss any time at all, but we will update on his situation close to the Capitals' next game.

Sean Burke, Phoenix Coyotes - Burke hopes to practice three more times before returning to action on Friday against the Stars. Burke's name has also come up frequently in trade talks involving the St. Louis Blues, who are reportedly not satisfied with the work of their #1 goalie Brent Johnson. Burke is the most likely out Phoenix's trio of goalies to get traded and the Blues are probably logical front-runners to grab him (or any other top goalie) for a playoff run anyway . Stay tuned.

Jeff Hackett, Boston Bruins - Hackett was pulled from Monday's game against the Predators after allowing four goals on 24 shots. Coach Robbie Ftorek said after the game that the pulling was not because of Hackett's play but because of the non-support the goalie was getting from his teammates. Ftorek almost never pulls a goalie (in fact he has never pulled a goalie in his two years with the Bruins) so this game obviously did not impress him in the least.

Chris Osgood, New York Islanders - Osgood looked strong during Monday's morning skate and is apparently very close to returning from an ankle sprain.

Byron Dafoe, Atlanta Thrashers - Dafoe injured his left groin during pre-game warmups and did not make his scheduled start on Monday. He will be re-evaluated Tuesday but GM Don Waddell feels as if he will be sidelined for at least two weeks. Milan Hnilicka will be recalled since Pasi Nurminen is also hurt and should be considered the favorite for starts over Frederic Cassivi.

Simon Gagne, Philadelphia Flyers - Gagne skated for a second consecutive day on Monday and the Flyers' medical staff felt encouraged by the progress he showed. Gagne is recovering from a torn groin.

John LeClair, Philadelphia Flyers - Even though he has not been cleared for contact practice, LeClair practiced again with his teammates and engaged in some physicality. Once he is officially cleared to participate in full practice, he will be about one week away from returning. Taking all that into account, he probably will not be back until early March, reports the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Martin Straka, Pittsburgh Penguins - Straka, out with a hamstring strain, participated in a 65-minute workout with the rest of the Pens on Monday but will not play on Tuesday against the Oilers. He is targetting a return to action for Thursday's contest against the Avalanche.

Jan Hrdina, Pittsburgh Penguins - Hrdina did not skate on Monday and will not play on Tuesday against the Oilers. Coach Rick Kehoe said the winger will not return until he gets a few practices under his belt which would imply that he won't be back until late this week at the very earliest and more likely not until next week.

Shayne Corson, Toronto Maple Leafs - Corson, who was scratched for the first time in his career on Saturday against the Senators, will probably be the odd man out again for Monday's game against the Hurricanes, reports the Toronto Star.

Joe Sakic, Colorado Avalanche - Sakic skated for 25 minutes on Monday but is still experiencing some minor pain in his ankle when stopping and turning. The Rocky Mountain News reports that Sakic could be back in the Avs' lineup as early as February 23 against the Rangers.

Brendan Morrow, Dallas Stars - Morrow has not been back on the ice for almost a week since suffering a rib cartilage injury. There is no timetable for his return, but he hopes to be healthy for the playoffs according to the Dallas Morning News, which isn't exactly encouraging for fantasy purposes.

Jason Arnott, Dallas Stars - Arnott missed Sunday's game against the Sharks with a sore knee that has bothered him for the past couple of weeks. He remains day-to-day.

Steve Yzerman, Detroit Red Wings - Yzerman will sit down with coach Dave Lewis in the next few days to discuss the details surrounding his return to the Red Wings lineup. As we reported before, the veteran center hopes to make his season debut either this weekend or sometime next week.

Turner Stevenson, New Jersey Devils - Stevenson, out with a left knee injury, will not play in Tuesday's game against the Flyers, reports the New Jersey Star-Ledger.

Brian Gionta, New Jersey Devils - Gionta, out with a right ankle injury, will not play in Tuesday's game against the Flyers, reports the New Jersey Star-Ledger.

Valeri Bure, Florida Panthers - Bure has been placed on injured reserve with a right knee sprain. However, a full evaluation cannot be conducted until the swelling goes down in a few days. Does this sound injury and the Bure name sound familiar because it should.

Stephen Weiss, Florida Panthers - Weiss broke the big toe in his left foot on Saturday and won't play again until the weekend at the earliest. He will try to skate in the meantime, however.

Zdeno Chara, Ottawa Senators - Chara was scratched from Monday's lineup due to some sort of a chest injury. He is listed as day-to-day.

Jaroslav Spacek, Columbus Blue Jackets - Spacek missed practice yesterday and missed the team's flight to Phoenix. His wife had labor induced and his status is up in the air for tonight's game.
