Roman Cechmanek, Philadelphia Flyers - Cechmanek is the probable starter for Friday's game against the Rangers, reports the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Jean-Sebastien Giguere, Anaheim Mighty Ducks - Giguere is the probable starter for Friday's game against the Oilers.

Coach Robbie Ftorek, true to his character, would not reveal what was wrong with Hackett but said that the goalie "wasn't ready to go". Hackett stated afterwards that he was not suffering from any injuries so the logical guess would be that he has the flu or Ftorek is playing some mind games.

Sean Burke, Phoenix Coyotes - Burke was supposed to start Thursday's game against the Blues but came down with a nasty case of the flu in the morning. Even though he served as the backup, Burke was actually lying down in the trainer's room throughout the game.

Keith Tkachuk, St. Louis Blues - Just a reminder that Tkachuk will return for Friday's game as he has now finished serving his four game suspension.

Peter Forsberg, Colorado Avalanche - Forsberg did not practice on Thursday after getting a puck in the groin area in the game before. He might not play in Friday's game against the Lightning according to the Denver Post, but a final determination will only be known after the morning skate.

Adam Foote, Colorado Avalanche - Foote did not practice as well due to a hamstring injury and is doubtful for Friday's game against the Lightning.

John LeClair, Philadelphia Flyers - LeClair is very close to returning from a shoulder injury. His teammates believe that the big winger will suit up for Monday's game but neither LeClair or the Flyers coaching staff would confirm that.

Simon Gagne, Philadelphia Flyers - Gagne is probable for Friday's game against the Rangers. He is still recovering from a groin tear and will participate in the morning skate before making it official whether he will play or not.

Brian Rolston, Boston Bruins - Rolston left Thursday's game against the Islanders in the third period after being checked hard into the boards. However, after the game he stated that he just got his "bell rung" and would not miss any additional time.

Jochen Hecht, Buffalo Sabres - Hecht has been cleared to return from his wrist injury but was not ready to go for Thursday's game against the Maple Leafs.
