Ron Tugnutt, Dallas Stars - Tugnutt will be the starter for Sunday's game against the Sharks, reports the Dallas Morning-News. However, if he continues to play inconsistently, the Stars may turn to journeyman Corey Hirsch for a game or two.

Pasi Nurminen, Atlanta Thrashers - Nurminen will be the starter for Sunday's game against the Wild, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Martin Biron, Buffalo Sabres - Biron will be the starter for Sunday's game against the Lightning, reports the official Sabres website.

Jean-Sebastien Giguere, Anaheim Mighty Ducks - Giguere is the probable starter for Sunday's game against the Red Wings.

Steve Shields, Boston Bruins - Shields is the probable starter for Sunday's game against the Blackhawks. As you may have noticed, we have a horrible time predicting the Boston starters as coach Robbie Ftorek would rather poke himself in the eye with a pencil than reveal any information on anything of relevance. With that said, Jeff Hackett could very well come back one zero days rest for another game.

Jocelyn Thibault, Chicago Blackhawks - Thibault is the probable starter for Sunday's game against the Bruins.

Curtis Joseph, Detroit Red Wings - Joseph is the probable starter for Sunday's game against the Mighty Ducks.

Manny Fernandez, Minnesota Wild - Fernandez is the probable starter for Sunday's game against the Thrashers.

Martin Prusek, Ottawa Senators - Prusek is the probable starter for Sunday's game against the Penguins.

Sebastien Caron, Pittsburgh Penguins - Caron is the probable starter for Sunday's game against the Senators.

Miikka Kiprusoff, San Jose Sharks - Kiprusoff is the probable starter for Sunday's game against the Stars. Take this one with caution as well because Kiprusoff has already started two games this week to Evgeni Nabokov's one.

Nikolai Khabibulin, Tampa Bay Lightning - Khabibulin is the probable starter for Sunday's game against the Sabres.

player info

Theoren Fleury, Chicago Blackhawks - Fleury was placed on waivers by the Blackhawks, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Not only is the team disappointed in his play but with the playoffs pretty much out of the question, they would like to dump his $4 million annual salary. It remains to be seen if any team will give the controversial Fleury another shot, but if he isn't picked up, the Hawks may very well buy out the remainder of his contract which in essence would effectively end Fleury's career. Oh, for the record, the Blackhawks are refusing to publically comment on the situation.

Scott Young, Dallas Stars - Young, who missed the Stars last game with a hip pointer, is expected to return to the lineup for Sunday's game against the Sharks, reports the Dallas Morning-News.

Nicklas Lidstrom, Detroit Red Wings - Lidstrom, who slightly sprained his ankle during Friday's win over the Blues, will be a gametime decision to play against the Mighty Ducks on Sunday. We'd recommend to keep him active as he is as hot as any defenseman right now and probably will play anyway.

Steve Yzerman, Detroit Red Wings - Like teammate Nick Lidstrom, Yzerman will be a gametime decision to play on Sunday against the Mighty Ducks due to a sore knee. We don't think he will play but if he does, then he will certainly sit out on Monday's contest against the Kings as the team does not yet want him to play in back-to-back days.

Bryan Marchment, Colorado Avalanche - The Avalanche acquired Marchment on Saturday in exchange for two middle-round draft picks. He will probably play on the Avs' third defense unit as the sixth defenseman and has minimal fantasy value.

Vincent Damphousse, San Jose Sharks - Several reports have indicated that the Avs would like to trade for the veteran Damphousse to address their offensive needs. Damphousse is good friends with former teammates Patrick Roy and his agent, Bob Sauve, is also close to Avalance GM Pierre Lacroix (in fact, Sauve's son is in the Avs organization). The only stumbling block is Damphousse's salary, which the Avs would like to restructure if a deal is to happen and reportedly Damphousse has declined the offer.

Kip Miller, Washington Capitals Miller recently participated in non-contact drills as he recovers from a hand injury and is expected back in the Capitals lineup sometime next week according to the Washington Post.

Simon Gagne, Philadelphia Flyers - Gagne had his groin examined on Friday evening with tests revealing only a strain. However, it is possible the Flyers will hold him out until the playoffs now that they have all but assured themselves of a top position for the post-season.

J.P. Dupont, Buffalo Sabres - Dupont did not play in Saturday's game against the Panthers due to a sore throat. His availability for Sunday's game against the Lightning is in question.

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
Daze, Fluery in. maybe Roloson

Daze, Fluery in. maybe Roloson

Hawks official site sez Daze and Fluery will play today (in caption under photo).

Wild official site has this

Lemaire also doesn?t expect to change his rotation of Dwayne Roloson and Manny Fernandez. Although he did indicate that Roloson may start Sunday against Atlanta. The change has less to do with Roloson?s play Friday than it is a reflection of past match-ups against Atlanta and the Wild?s upcoming opponents (Dallas and Nashville). If both goaltenders continue playing at the high level they?ve been playing of late Lemaire will continue to use both. Should either goaltender falter, he?ll consider sticking with the hot hand. Speaking of hot hands, Fernandez is undefeated in his last four starts (3-0-1).
