Dwayne Roloson, Minnesota Wild - Roloson got a rare second consecutive start on Wednesday but don't look for this to become a trend or a sign that he has won the #1 job outright. Instead, coach Jacques Lemaire just wants to play Manny Fernandez on Friday against his old team the Dallas Stars.
Patrick DesRochers, Carolina Hurricanes - DesRochers may have broken his arm in practice, reports the Raleigh News-Observer. X-rays were inconclusive and DesRochers will undergo more testing but if his arm is broken he is done for the year. If it isn't broken, he will miss at least ten games, which means either way, Arturs Irbe will likely be starting most of the games for the Hurricanes from here on in. Regular starter Kevin Weekes is set to undergo surgery on his right hand later this year.
