Steve Shields, Boston Bruins - Shields will be the starter for Thursday's game against the Flyers, reports the Boston Herald.

Jani Hurme, Florida Panthers - Hurme will be the starter for Thursday's game against the Blues, reports the Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Martin Brodeur, New Jersey Devils - Brodeur will be the starter for Thursday's game against the Lightning, reports the Newark Star-Ledger. He is gunning for his fourth 40-win season, an unprecedented feat in NHL history.

Brian Boucher, Phoenix Coyotes - Boucher will be the starter for Thursday's game against the Canucks, reports the Arizona Republic.

Dan Cloutier, Vancouver Canucks - Cloutier will be the starter for Thursday's game against the Coyotes, reports the Vancouver Province. He practiced yesterday and said his injured knee felt great so barring a setback this morning, he'll play.

Roman Turek, Calgary Flames - Turek is the probable starter for Thursday's game against the Stars.

Craig Andersson, Chicago Blackhawks - Andersson is the probable starter for Thursday's game against the Predators. The rookie has not fared well at all as of late, but coach Brian Sutter has refused to lay blame on him for the team's poor performance.

Patrick Roy, Colorado Avalanche - Roy is the probable starter for Thursday's game against the Kings.

Marty Turco, Dallas Stars - Turco is the probable starter for Thursday's game against the Flames.

Curtis Joseph, Detroit Red Wings - Joseph is the probable starter for Thursday's game against the Sharks.

Jamie Storr, Los Angeles Kings - Storr is the probable starter for Thursday's game against the Avalanche. Youngster Cristobal Huet has done a fabulous job in net lately so it's possible that he could start. We'll try and update later if any news on the matter trickles in.

Tomas Vokoun, Nashville Predators - Vokoun is the probable starter for Thursday's game against the Blackhawks.

Roman Cechmanek, Philadelphia Flyers - Cechmanek is the probable starter for Thursday's game against the Bruins.

Evgeni Nabokov, San Jose Sharks - Nabokov is the probable starter for Thursday's game against the Red Wings.

Chris Osgood, St. Louis Blues - Osgood is the probable starter for Thursday's game against the Panthers.

Nikolai Khabibulin, Tampa Bay Lightning - Khabibulin is the probable starter for Thursday's game against the Devils.

Andrew Raycroft, Boston Bruins - Raycroft did not practice yesterday but his availability for Thursday's game against the Flyers will only be determined after the morning skate. We're guessing that even if he is healthy enough to dress for the contest, he won't play.

Kevin Weekes, Carolina Hurricanes - Weekes was not supposed to start on Wednesday but found a physician who was willing to administer the painkilling shot that he needs to be able to play. Weekes' participation in the final games of the season will probably be evaluated on a day-to-day basis depending on if he is able to get the treatment.

Roberto Luongo, Florida Panthers - Luongo missed the last three minutes of Wednesday's game against the Sabres after taking a slapshot off the knee. X-rays conducted after the game showed no serious damage and Luongo is hopeful that the injury is just a bruise, allowing him to finish the season.

John Madden, New Jersey Devils - Madden suffered a groin strain late in Monday's win over the Panthers and will not play tonight, reports the Newark Star-Ledger. Coach Pat Burns says the injury "could be bad" but Madden downplayed the severity saying it's "not that bad" and that he's "day-to-day".

Mario Lemieux, Pittsburgh Penguins - As reported yesterday, Lemieux did not play in Wednesday's game against the Rangers due to back spasms. Lemieux is listed as questionable at best for the Pens next game on Saturday and will make a final decision depending on how he feels over the next two days. The Penguins only have five games and add that to his other problems (health, lack of good linemates) and it's obvious that Lemieux's fantasy value is almost nil over the final week and a half of the regular season.

Brad Lukowich, Tampa Bay Lightning - Lukowich will be sidelined for four weeks with a non-displaced fracture of the orbital bone, suffered during Monday's game.

Mike Ricci, San Jose Sharks - Ricci will not play in Thursday's game against the Red Wings due to a bad back. It's not that serious but since the Sharks out of the playoffs, there's no reason for him to be in there.

Sergei Samsonov, Boston Bruins - Samsonov continues to work out on the ice in anticipation of a return to the Bruins lineup in the very near future. The Boston Herald reports that he is targetting a return for next Thursday against the Devils.
