Kansas City area for who knows how long....
Calgary---Turek I expect, since he's is the no.1 guy and back now. He's 4-2-1 vs Boston, 2.07 gga, .912 save pct.
Calgary played well (finally) in last game, and are 3-0 this year in first game of multiple road trip (7-1 last season).
Calgary's Drury is Beantown native and played collegate hockey in this town crazy over that. He usually does well on trips here, has played well of late, and it is Student Night (half off tickets) at Fleet Center tonight.
Prop bet at thegreek: Most points scored in the game goals and assists Goals (1pt) Assist (1pt). Player must play for action. Overtime counts towards wager.
107 Chris Drury -105
108 Glen Murray -125

Boston----Grahame is my guess. but who knows?
Boston's avg 3.4 goals/gm at home is best in NHL. Some important players may return tonight. I remember last season how a winning Colorado team suddenly struggled with chemistry problems for after some important veterans returned...

Washington----Kolzig predict WA papers. But they play Calgary tomorrow and Kolzig has faced a ton of shots lately. Wouldn't be surprised to see Billington/Kidd tonight.... Only WA win in last six was against Atlanta saturday. WA 2-10 SU this season when an underdog.

Toronto---Belfour speculates Boston paper. this from Toronto paper today "At some point this week, either tonight or in back-to-back games against Philadelphia and Buffalo, Quinn is expected to give backup Trevor Kidd a chance in goal. "
Leafs playing 3rd game in 4 nights, and are 0-3 this season in 2nd game of consecutive back to back play (but only 19-23 last 3 seasons).

Atlanta---"Dafoe Debuts For Thrashers Tonight" sez official site.
Dafoe might want payback vs the Habs that embarrased him in playoffs last season. ATL paper reports "The Canadiens (9-8-4-0) are 0-2-2-1 in the past five games, but the Thrashers have lost consecutive games to teams on winless streaks"
ATL over is 6-0 this season after a loss by 2 goals or more in their previous game (41-27 last 3 seasons).

Montreal---Theodore tonight it is reported on this story about why Czerkawski will be tried on PK unit tonight despite his lack of experience and success there........http://www.faceoff.com/nhl/teams/canadiens/news/story.html?f=/news/20021126/460482.html

good luck to everyone!

On Kolzig. This is what I think is going to happen. He plays tonight and Charpatier goes tomorrow.

They sent Charpy down and kept Billington cuz they knew that it would be a long time till Kolzig might need a rest (ie. back to back). That gave Charpy some ice time in Portland. Now, they have a couple of injury issues with Peat (who was replaced by callup Chiernik last game) and Bondra.

As of now Bondra is on the active roster, not IR. If Bondra does not play tonight I believe they will put him on IR tomorrow and call up Charpy to play vs. the Flames tomorrow at home. Then they will probably buy out Billington or offer him a position within the org.

This is all speculation of course, and probably noone cares except other Caps fans, so...the long and short of it is I see no reason Kolzig does not play tonight.

What ever happened to the other Caps fan, kono22? He was a darn good capper.
