Kansas City area for who knows how long....
I'm Back online! but for only five days. then will be gone for another 10..

Ott--Lalime sez the Ottawa Sun. makes sense, he went 3-0-1 last season vs 'Canes, with 1.77 gga.

Carolina-- Irbe "expected to start" sez Ott Citizen. Weekes is making a strong play for No. 1 netminder spot, so Irbe will pitch a shutout soon.

WA--Kolzig (see no reason for backup tonight)

NYR--Richter sez Newsday. Big Team had a meeting other day to hash out differences. Teams usually do well after these..

TB--Khabib. See no reason for backup tonight

Columbus--Denis, same as above

Toronto--Belfour. Toronto Sun quotes coach: "We need some games out of (Eddie Belfour, who missed four games with a scratched thumb). He has been good, and we have to get our game in front of him a lot better."

FL--Luongo I'm guessing, but could see Hurme as FL plays NYI tomorrow.

NJ--Brodeur. I see no reason for backup

ATL--Hnilicka. ATL papers sez coach proclaims he's still no. 1, so should start--a two day rest coming next.

LA---Potvin. See no reason for backup. LA is 1-5-1 last 7 at Joe Louis Arena. Palffy is a game day decision after this morning's skate sez paper. Anybody hear news on this? This team plays poorly with him out.

Detroit--Cujo. See no reason for backup. But coach did say Legacy will get start or two in next several games of busy schedule.

future notes: Ducks say Gerber will start tomorrow report LA Times.
Braithwaite could be back in net for STL thurs.

I know of no site listing starting goalies.

One sportsbook did list them for betting in playoffs last season. Don't like that. would remove edge from guys like me who take the time to search the info out.
