FROM THE MONTREAL GAZZETTE
Th?odore will get his third consecutive start tonight when the Canadiens entertain the Philadelphia Flyers at the Molson Centre (7:30 p.m., TQS, CJAD Radio-800).
In his last two games, Th?odore has stopped 65 of 66 shots in a 4-0 win over the New York Islanders last Thursday and a 1-1 tie against the Maple Leafs Saturday night in Toronto. In that game, Th?odore and the Leafs' Curtis Joseph took turns upstaging each other, although Th?odore faced more shots, because the Leafs outshot the Canadiens 39-29.
Has Flyers' Number
Then there's Th?odore's record against the Flyers. A 3-2 win in Philadelphia last month gave Th?odore a 5-2-0 lifetime record against Philadelphia, and he's 5-0-0 over the last three seasons.
"He's just been outstanding," teammate Brian Savage said after Saturday night's tie in Toronto. "He's our MVP up to now. And we need him to be that strong if we're going to make the playoffs."
