CAVEAT: i try to not wager on games that involve syracuse, nd or ucla...i ALWAYS get bit regardless of which side i'm on...tonite, though, i'm gonna try 'cuse & here's why:

--almost everyone is on the hall

--this yr the orange have been the fly in the ointment when the "unranked fav vs ranked dog" system is utilized (i think)...

--most importantly, the play of orange ctr forth has picked up dramatically in the last 2 games...boeheim has always strongly supported this kid & said on numerous occasions that "he'll get there, he'll come around, etc"...personally, i thought forth was just taking up space but i love to be proven wrong, means i've learned something...my guess, & it's only a guess, is that we'll see a more aggressive effort from a newly-confident/vindicated craig forth...not dominant, just more aggressive & ready to step up more, which should be the diff in this game...

syr+3 1*(after all, this is still syracuse)...gl, caper

as noted in my caveat, just cannot get on the right side w/ cuse...didn't see the game but heard commentary on how mcnamara was shut down...so much for my guess that forth would step it up, back to biz as usual--7-footer scores 4 pts...this is the last time i get bit by the orange...nice call to the hall backers...gl, caper
