I'll tell you a little somethin

I'll tell you a little somethin

After the first year I was capping basketball and football I went pay because I was making a lot of money at the sportsbooks. Just ask anyone here I used to post every single opinion on every game. I did pretty good and there was a lot of money to be made off of the sportsbook and the clients, even created my own website. Now I don't post as much except if I have a strong opinion on games, and I still post a lot on football (my favorite). Never recruitred business off of this website though, just did it at wagertrash (*********). After looking back on this I will say this, its not a "great" thing to get into because of the time and energy and pressure you have to put into it. I don't dislike or like people that go pay its their choice but you should know what your getting yourself into. I would rather sit back and have a few beers and watch the game I am betting on and not have to worry about how many people are winning or losing because of my point of view.

Best of luck,

kneifl

To be honest with you, what is the point of posting this? I've got no problem with you, but it's pointless to post this. For one thing, what do the opinions here have to do with your choice of going pay or not? This topic has been brought up so many times, you have been a member here long enough to know how people will feel. If indeed you do go pay, why wouldn't you wait until the season starts to announce it rather than do it 3 months in advance. It just seems like you want a 3 month head start on your client list. Like I said I've got no prob w/ you and know you are a great capper, but this is just an honest outsiders point of view.

i see your point saint

the point is.. ive been posting here for years.. and every time someone turns to pay im almost always the first to bust ther balls....

so i felt shi*ty for even considering it...

your right about me being here long enough.. so i know the drill, if i did go that route nobody here would ever know it... i know the rules.. i couldnt (or wouldnt) build a client list here...

its besides the point anyway cause i already said NO...

i make enough on my own and i enjoy sharing info with everyone here at jacks..

and your right i dont want the pressure.. this shit is stressfull enough

GL to all

Its funny actually because in the past how you have been so against anyone doing this. And been the most vocal.

I told you at one point that you would be next. Its a small world.

If you were to be really truthfull you would have told us this last year. Your plays were not the same as the year before. Something was amiss.

Good luck

gibbs, if u do good luck, as i believe ur a good man and good nfl capper at that

the funny thing is i was asked to do the same,to join 2 others, noone frommthis site, apparently someone was watching me over the course of the nfl and nba and all. im still undecided also, but i too have some time to really think about it. the 2 i am to join are a couple of really good guys and have been doing it for quite some time, apparently they want my input on the nfl as well as basketball. i talked to alot of good friends about this as well, and there telling me to give it a shot.so im not sure yet,but will make my decision soon

either way good luck my friend, will miss u in the nfl section ;)

Damn I know I should just shut up about it but here are your words from last year 2003.
............................................................................

its just im tired of seeing this..

what i mean is, im tired of Jacks being used as a stepping stone for guys to build a clientele, then go pay...

to many times ive seen fellas come in.. they have a few winning seasons.. they build a reputation, they develop relationships, they develop friendships, and finally loyalty.. then suddley they want their loyal followers and friends to pay them money for there once free and open advice.. this seems sum what shitty to me..
...............................................................................................

Gibber

Do what you want to do and don't look back. In some ways MJs
is a stepping stone as we have seen it happen quite a few times in the last few years. We can't stop members here from going pay and we should congratulate them on their success.

Capping is very difficult and anyone that provides steady winners in MJs makes us all some money in most cases. If not for a direct follow then maybe to lay off a certain game.

Anyway pay services don't need you to bring in MJs customers, you bring in customers when you provide pay service winners at say about 58% consistantly.

This pay service stuff usually comes in three's.

i should not say shit but you sure ripped me a nice ass at least 5 or 6 times and even said i was looking for fast money and in a round about way said i would scam, well was a pro and a service long before i joined here almost 4 years ago and never once scammed anyone. that being said the pressure in investing other peoples money is a big pressure if you give a shit about your clients and i do and have some from here for over 3 years, who are very happy. but trust me it is far from fast money or a cake walk unless you don't care which i find that hard to believe, there are no locks, no games of the week ,month or year. and no-one knows who the hell is going to win if so i think i would of found out who that person is and bet it all and be set for life, but the same as my job as a pro first service is = or weighs on me more to be honest if they lose a few weeks in a row, but it is very hard to enjoy the money, also if you are a corp. like me there are taxes, cpa's money to run adds on radio and paper, it is very stressful, can you do it i don't know many think they can till the money is on the table then all things change, stress and greed can do funny things to people. What ever you do i say good luck unlike how you treated me.

Here Here Fletch your dead on the nuts. If it was so dam easy and everyone had the balls to do it. Then everyone would. And I have seen you called many names. I only hope most of mind were nice. But Gib1 sometimes ego gets in our way. We just think were better then we are. I just putting alittle chit on you. You held your own. But it's a new life when you go pay.
