in the morning for ten days. palm springs. then vegas for a couple. then up the cost to napa valley. any ideas of cool things to do are appreciated. thanks in advance...

If your going to palm springs and you like to golf I would definitely head over to pga west and play the stadium or the jack tournament there.
Also, you could gamble at Morongo, Agua Caliente or Trump 29
Ruth's Chris' SteakHouse is incredible and my favorite is Japanese Cuisine at Hibatchis in Palm Desert
If you are driving up the coast to napa I would stop at Hearst Castle and take a couple of tours. The nicest home I have ever been to and has left an impression on me for years. I also would recommend the BoardWalk at Santa Cruz, real fun place.

Tramway is cool
Golf every direction
Hiking in Mountains is great if you want exercise. Indian Canyons are the best.
Great restaraunts all over the place.

I agree tramway is pretty cool, although its kinda hidden.
I really like palm springs, I always look to give advice about hanging out there because I have had such good times over the years
