Last weeks early picks were 2-0
Early Picks Week 2: Indy -2; Rams -3
Miami at N.Y. Jets: The Dolphins have been 0-2 only once since 1970. That was in 1988, when they finished 6-10. They are both challenged and anxious, after losing on opening day for the first time in 12 years. They're off for New Jersey to face the Jets, a team that has beaten them five straight times at the Meadowlands, and also doesn't want to start 0-2.
Cleveland at Baltimore: The Browns and Baltimore are facing off and one will end up 0-2. Cleveland has an edge in experience at QB, while the Ravens are stronger on defense, despite being embarrassed by Pittsburgh in Week 1. Cleveland has covered eight of the last nine on the road under Butch Davis.
Detroit at Green Bay: Green Bay lost its home opener to Minnesota and now hosts Detroit. The Packers have three injured wide receivers, so they signed Antonio Freeman this week. They are 9-1-2 against the line on Detroit's last dozen trips to Lambeau.
San Francisco at St. Louis: The Rams are going from Kurt Warner to Marc Bulger as they look to avoid another 0-5 start. San Fran has not won on its last four trips to St. Louis, and Bulger was 6-1 last year as a starter. He will be facing a somewhat depleted Niner secondary.
New England at Philadelphia: New England goes to Philadelphia; both teams lost in Week 1. The Eagles may have to start Lito Sheppard at corner and Brian Dawkins will also be missing from the secondary. Linebacker Ted Johnson sits it out for the Pats. Philadelphia was 0-4 against AFC opposition last season.
Cincinnati at Oakland: The Raiders have a shortage at safety as they attempt to put their record at 1-1. Rod Woodson underwent surgery this week. The Bengals shouldn't offer much resistance. They were dreadful at home against Denver and just 4-12 in their recent efforts as an underdog. They get 12 on Sunday.
