Golf course recommendations?

Some buddies and I will be in Vegas next week/end. Looking to play 18 on Friday mid morning. Have never played in Vegas before. 7 Handicap but my buds are 20-25 Hdcp. Any suggestions on a great track that is not too challenging... Price is not an issue, 7 hours away from the tables makes it almost free...

The Revere in Henderson is one I played recently that was nice. They offer public teams but I think it is listed as semi-private.

We have made the drive to Primm Valley several times and it is worth it if you are up for it. It's on the Cal/Nevada border. You drive through nothing but desert and then out of nowhere is a grassy oasis.

Another one that we play is Boulder Creek in Boulder City, NV. Couple different courses on site (3 9s I think). Last time I was there they were playing the Big Sky or Mountain West tournament.

Depending on how far you want to travel, my favorites are...

for views, the Arroyo at Red Rock or head up my way and play either Highland Falls or Palm Valley---Revere is also very nice (either course)

you want ease of play, check out Angel Park Palm or Mountain

I've played LV National, it has some history but the course is kind of crappy imo

Rhodes Ranch is also a very nice course and plays pretty easy and probably the closest to the Stip of all I mentioned

I am going with my buddies at the end of February. We are playing Angel Park Palm, Royal Links and Reflection Bay. Same courses as last time, they are all great and fun to play.

Bali hai is the nicest course and right on the strip, but spendy, and I played painted dessert and it sucks! If you want to travel, wolf creek in mesquite is the best ive played!

Agree 100% about wolf creek. Really enjoyed both rounds I?ve played there.

Oh great. It is a good thing that I have stumbled upon this thread since I am also looking for a good golf course. I do hope that the fee is not too expensive. Anyway, do you guys have tips that you can share? I am just looking forward to a smooth golfing experience with my friends. Anyway, I will definitely check some of them out.

145 a round at Wolf Creek now; higher as you get into peak winter season in feb/March.
