Good case for Eddie Haskell to pursue

Ed.....dr. freeze has a problem with some of the geriatricians in this country.....

this may be more of a criminal case, but many of these guys are severely taking advantage of social security system by duping families and transporting old folks around unneccessarily from hospital to hospital.....making tons of $$$ and furthering the drain of medicare onto yours and my wallets

Just an idea because there are some honorable cases out there....despite what you may read from time to time not every malpractice case is a crime

Right on buddy. Years ago many doctors helped move the health care into bad shape by doing this to many patients' insurance companies. Well, that has stopped but unfortunately the government, especially with all the new $$ recently added to medicare payouts, has no such accountability (imagine that).

So these crooks dupe patients and their families into thinking they need health care. You can imagine that it must be real hard to convince an old senile person who's only social event of the week (the doctor's appointment) needs additional work done.

This furthers the drain placed on our economy. And to be honest, anyone can do this with these people being on 15 upwards of 30 different medicines.

Big problem. I don't know the solution.....well, i do -- investigate and prosecute.....but good luck with that....only thing this would do most likely is put more $$ in the hands of lawyers and out of the budget. I think it would extremely hard to get any kind of conviction......and the practice would continue if not increase with the publicity

Why the f*** do you have a problem with lawyers getting paid for what they do. After all, we are both in the service industry, you handle their medical needs, me the legal needs.

Frankly, most lawyers make well under 100k per year. The way you and Dogs post, you would think that every lawyer is out there screwing a client and making millions.

You have one hand in the insurance companies pocket and we have our hand in the other pocket. As long as my clients and your patients get nothing all is well with the world.

I don't know what the mean income is for lawyers but it is far less than the mean for your bretheren. What is obscene is that many docs made well into seven figures in the 80's and 90's for doing routine, almost auto mechanic type arthroscopic surgeries that Coco the monkey could do.

I know what Dr. Freeze is talking about, I see it all the time. I just wish the elderly population knew that they had a right to refuse any treatment.
