Although I did not back Obama, I am proud that our country has taken such great strides in equality towards all races. Living in the deep south, I am exposed daily to racist remarks about blacks (normally in an attempt at humor)from clients, co-workers, business associates, etc. I honestly felt this was closer to the norm outside of the south, but I am sure glad that I was wrong.
Congrats to Obama backers on the board, except for those scum bags that post childish bs about the inbred south.
I do not buy into all of the scare tactics of the right concerning Obama, but I also don't buy all of Obama's BS about no new taxes for those earning under $250K. I guess we will soon see about the latter.
I totally prefer split power between white house and congress, but my guess is '09-'12 are gonna be 4 good years for those of us who do what we have to do to be successful:toast:
