loophole....went to the HS championships game in my county last nite...my best friends daughter is a big time player for her team and they won.. Also saw one of my all time best players ever Alex O......so proud of him...had nothing his whole life. Dad in jail for life and mom has been in a mental institution. He played some juco but was classified special ed and could never do the academic part... he got a job at Sam's Club and has been the manager there for the past 15 years.he got married and has two sons....just like their father they can play basketball...one just graduated HS and his other son is a linebacker. Alex still plays in mens leagues and can still play....It was so nice seeing him last nite...I have had so many players in the past that are dead or in jail...Alex is a success story...
then went out with all the coaches and former coaches...had a blast
.so many stories...and fun... " box,your box and one sucked,so overated,etc"...and I said " I beat your ass though". Its so good to see all the coaches you battled against for 20 years..
anyway I got in late and haven't capped anything...The Iona line looks good but I have to see if they need the win for the MAAC tourney coming up...Monmouth might have clinched it already regardless of winning or losing...Iona might be the 2 seed already and only need to win..so maybe take some starters and rest them...I will be back later to figure who needs to win for the tourney...but on paper Iona looks good...same with Quinn...they looked so bad vs Marist the other nite...
