spread of -3 and for some reason i like the under 74.5, both SU 1/2 unit and parlay both for 1/2 unit. The trend changes today, as temple steps up it's defence. GL

I posted in Daydreaming's thread that I had St. Joe's PK for the first half because of the home crowd and Temple is a notoriously slow starter.
St. Joe's up by 16.
I took Temple -3.5 second half BIG.

IMO second half lines are a great opportunity for bettors: the books seem to set their second half lines on some sort of formula without incorporating what actually happened in the first half.
Did they really think Temple would lose by 12 in a game where the gameline was originally set at PK or are they just trying to balance their books in terms of first half/second half money?

I couldn't get the damn bet in fast enough , I don't know what formula they use, but thier's too much riding on this game for temple not to show up in the 2nd half, hey maybe books hand out gifts after alll, it's just so difficult to decide when their trying to bait you hook, line and sinker. this time of year especially......teams with leads get the "don't choke it away" mentality while team behind plays with aggression......especially the case in the tourney.......i am going to be betting to the pickem side 75% of the time from now on......if history bears witness, will make money doing so
