Private club. One of the great things about America is that as long as you own it, you can run it as you see fit. I applaud them actually. I think it's funny that it makes you squirm.
Actually your statement is FALSE. Ownership does not give one the right to discriminate based on sex, race, age or religion. There are exceptions and "clubs" which are grandfathered in to the old JIM CROW era laws, but your statement about OWNERSHIP is so fucking ignorant it makes me squirm.
The reason Augusta makes me squirm, is as the Father of two GIRLS I think it is fucked up that people out there still think less of them because they are FEMALE.
You can put all the bullshit arguments up now about Girls Scouts and I cant play women's volleyball, but deep down you know the reason Augusta doesn't allow women is they think less of them.
