Seahawks are not a good team, Niners are. Yes, Shaun Alexander plays well at home, at night, and on national TV, but so do the Niners (11-1-0, last 12, or something like that). If their hopes rely on Shaun, i'll take the Niners run defense. Meanwhile the Hags are giving up something like 190 yards a game on the ground??? Hearst has always played big on Monday nights (138 ypg or so).
Hawks sat home for two weeks reveling in the fact that Minnasota imploded for 28 points in like 50 seconds. Seattle actually played a horrible second half in that game too. Throw in that Minny is one of the worst teams in football also. I also do not believe that the niners have even played close to their best game yet and are starting to gel a little with the whitewash against the rams, who i may add knocked the raiders from the ranks of the unbeaten yesterday. In the rams game, they were able to not let Marshall faulk beat them, so i am betting (literally), that they won't let Shaun beat them.
The only thing that scares me besides the home crowd, is i think seattle gets back two of their defensive linemen who have been out, which should help the run defense.
The kicker for me is that the early (public?) money seems to be on the seahawks and i would rather be on the other side of that money. Stokes is out, but Tai Streets isn't that bad a drop off.
Just my thoughts, good luck whatever you play.
