It seems like everytime someone puts the game of the year, it loses everytime. For example it happened today, no names, I think the right thing to do for now on is look for people to post game of the year and bet the opposite, Im not trying to step on peoples feet, but maybe coming up with a little system, anyone on this?

I've been selectively fading for years. There are much better candidates for fading, however, at wagertalk and a few other trash sites like that. People are sharper here as a rule.

Just my 2 cent's.

As a handicapper we love action and debating about the action. I wish I had a dollar for everytime I've heard"I knew that was going to......."after the game is over. It's just the way we are.We love the competion. We have a favorite team, color, car and to pick out a game as our GOY get's the juices flowing a little more.I commend people for posting win or lose and when they have a GOY,unless I ALREADY have a play on the othe side or don't plan to make one,I pull FOR a guy to win it.We all get excited and want to hit that GOY.I think for most of us we want to win that game moreso than another game we have just as much riding on,simply for the "I knew that was......". To blindly fade all GOY is ridiculous. How can you fade something or someone when you don't know all the other bet's or other Goy they have other places. Plain and simple this is fun for most.Don't eat someone's lunch for losing a GOY. They may have won 10 unit's in a day, then lose their Goy for 5 unit's,and some people here call them out for having a loser. It doesn't make sense to do that. You are more than welcome to fade my GOY's if you would like, that will give you 3 or 4 play's a year. Now if you want to sit by the computer for 8 month's to get them,by all mean's knock yourself out. I don't think fading them will give anyone the opportunity to quit their job,but if it's worth it to get your jollies by hammering me if they go down, well I'd recommend medical treatment.

I for one give out my GOY for the regular season, bowls, and playoff's. I am 2-0 in my GOY's so far as documented here.I will have my playoff GOY this weekend. I know for a fact that if it goes down,I'll get twice the bullcrap for that game than I did pat's on the back for my 2 winner's. But you know what .I'll do it anyway.
