Guys here's my think'n...........
-On Saturday the Mavs/Kings put up 183 shots hitting only 78!!
-Dallas went 35 of 90 for 39%....hitting only 6 of 23 from behind the arc for 26%
-SAC went 43 of 93 for 46%....hitting only 4 of 18 from behind the arc for 22%
-Scoring by quarter 51, 54, 51 and 43
-Mavs "defunked" and went dry in the 4th....only netting 17 points
-Nellie might revamp the gameplan for Monday night but I still think it's going to include "run and gun".
-SAC seems content to run with the Mavs.
-One thing that comes to my mind is the Bibby play just before the end of the 1st period........he has the ball with about 28 seconds left. Instead of taking the clock down for a final shot......he fires with 26 seconds (and hits).....the Mavs promptly run down and hit.......then fall asleep and give Jackson a layup at the horn!!!
Man that was 6 points in the last 25 seconds of the 1st!
-These two teams are going to hit more shots in game 2 now that the "RUST" is off and the cowbell has cleared the cobwebs outa the Mavs heads.
I think the 207 goes up over night.......snatch'n it while I can and sleep'n on it tonight.
