I don't know about you but I get sick and tired or hearing this phrase in politics and pretty much in everyday life.
A GRASS ROOTS MOVEMENT DOES NOT EXIST IN POLITICS !
What starts off as a good idea will always be ruined by big money and corporatism.
Take the Tea Party, The Real Party started by the Ron Paul Revolution. Dr Paul punishes all the BIG MONEY and Faux News' Candidates in '08, and all the rubber heads at faux get together and decide, "We can't beat this Old Man, let's just knock him off his surfboard" So much for The Grass Roots Tea Party Movement, in comes Hannity, Palin, Beck, who if you don't remember, wanted Paul supporters thrown in JAIL ! Now DICK Armey and Beck are joining forces ! Oh FFS !
It's like knowing about a band that's local, that really kicks ass, they get signed, go corporate and the next thing you know they sound like SMASH MOUTH ! ! OH THE FUCKING AGONY !
