William F Buckley JR .... When I was a kid, watched Firing Line with Mom . That was the first political show that I can remember. Buckley was common sense first . I had heard that he died and two minutes later, received a call from Mom. She said : our boy died . I said : just heard ... Brings back great memories .. Called her back later and we talked about what the conservative movement was and what it has become. These people on Tv & radio that call themselves conservatives have no idea... No idea ...Forget about carry his jockstrap, they don't deserve to eat it. Today reminds me that I'm on the right side. Buckley was against this war early on. He had come out against Bush also.. Wrong war , wrong time, wrong place, I think He said. When the wannabe conservatives call me a liberal. I'll take it. I registered to vote as a conservative and voted for Reagan because of Bill Buckley. I did a paper on him Freshman yr ; God and Man at Yale was super. I remember my professor asking why Buckley ? You know how those Liberals are ..:SIB .... God Bless WFB JR .
