Illinois +2.5 The last two times the Badgers have played the Illini they have given up over 500 yards to them. Plus now the Badgers are playing without Bell their top cornerback. The Badgers have never played well versus teams that spread out their attack. For Wisconsin Sorgi has completed only 54 % of his passes against very weak defenses. Illinois has played a tougher schedule and has the better QB. Illinois for 4 units.
Minnesota -2 Minnesota has a very potent offense. This team is a sleeper team in the big ten this year. People are saying they didn't play anybody yet this year but last year they did destroy Arkansas in their bowl game. Penn State QB Mills has regressed and with the losses in both offensive and defensive lines I don't think the Nittany Lions can stay with them. Golden Gophers 3 units
Northwestern +20 The Buckeyes just play to win they don't care to blow teams out when they get the lead they just sit on the ball. The Wildcats defense has improved from last year and if not for throwing 4 interceptions against Air Force they would have won that game also. I'll go against the Buckeyes whenever they are giving double digits. Wildcats 3 units
UCLA -10 The Aztecs will have a tough time scoring and the Bruins have enough athletes to put up some points. Bruins 3 units.
Purdue -10.5 Notre Dames offense is terrible. Last year they scored off of special teams and defense against Purdue. Boilermakers have a better defense than Michigan. Boilermakers big. 3 units
Texas Tech +3 Deceiving score last week as the Red Raiders put up 587 yards passing. Typical Manning as they put up great numbers but never beat anyone. Tech for 2 units
Akron -15 Buffalo can't score and the Zips can. Akron will run it up. The Zips for 2 units.
Troy State +13 Marshall has played well but this is the time for a major letdown. Can't see the thundering herd with anything left in the tank. Troy for 2 units.
