Florida -4 The Gators have played a much tougher schedule this season and have more team speed. Iowa is a team that relies on their special teams quite a bit. Their very weak in the quarterbacking department. The Offense averaged only 328 yards a game and against Bowl opponents they averaged 293 yards. Also with the game being played in Florida is a tremendous advantage. Add in the fact Iowa did not play that well on the road minus the Badger game in which Sorgi got hurt and his back up threw 3 interceptions that led to scores. I see the Gators win big today. Gators for 4 units.
Florida State -2 Miami is truly a great team but this team is virtually playing without a quarterback. Berlin is terrible and can't see them putting up a lot of points. The first game was played in the rain. I have seen Rix play 3 times in the rain and he has been awful in each one. Today I see big time revenge as Florida State shuts down the offense of Miami. Florida State -2 3 units
Michigan +7 If you look at how Southern Cal has performed against bowl competition you will find out they average 396 yards versus bowl opponents and give up 384 yards the telling story is that in 12 games this year they have forced 41 turnovers. USC will not be able to contain the offense of the Wolverines. In their last seven games the Wolverines only turned the ball over 8 times. During the regular season Michigan lost 2 games. One was Oregon after they had revenged their loss to Notre Dame the week before. The other which was Iowa in which they had completely dominated the game and outgained them by 170 yards. This is not your typical Big Ten team as they have plenty of team speed. I see a close game and would not be surprised to see Michigan win outright. Wolverines 3 units
Georgia -3 Purdue will struggle with the speed of the Georgia defense. Purdue's offense is nice versus the big ten but I see this as a game similar to when Purdue played Michigan and gained only 242 yards. Look for Georgia to cover against the Boilermakers. Georgia for 3 units.
