Indianapolis +3 Much has been said on how Payton Manning has not done that well versus Bill Belichek's defense. In their last 6 possessions in their last game the Colts got 3 TD's a field goal and were stopped on downs on the 1 yard line. In 5 of their last seven games they have scored at least 29 points. In the first game the Colts outgained them by 90 yards. The Pats defense has been very good this year but that was versus a schedule of weak offenses especially at home. In their 3 games they played against good offensive teams they gave up 34 to the Colts, 30 to Tennessee and 26 to the Denver Bronco's. In the first meeting Stokely did not play for the Colts and he has become a big weapon in their offense. The weakness of the Colts is their run defense and in the first meeting they rushed for only 56 yards in 23 carries. As far as cold and snowy conditions last year the Colts beat the Bronco's in those same type of conditions. Looking for the Colts to edge out the Pats today.

Carolina +4 The Eagle defense against the rush has been pathetic lately. If Stephon Davis were healthy this would be a big play on the Panthers. In the first meeting between these 2 teams Carolina had plenty of scoring opportunities but failed to capitalize as Kasay missed 3 short field goals and an extra point. Also in the first game the Eagles benefitted from a couple of roughing the passer penalties one of which was very questionable. The Panthers are playing their best ball of the season right now while the Eagles have struggled as of late. As far as Conference Finals these two teams have to be the weakest 2 final teams in many of years. The winner of this game will lose to the AFC by more than a touchdown. McNabb will not be able to run for 100 yards today and Buckner will take advantage of the loss of Mayberry. Carolina Panthers for 3 units.
