Packers defensive line will have their best game of the year against an offensive line that is the weak part of Tampa offense. You can compare their o line to what the Packers had to deal with their offensive last year, players injured and put out of their position. Their passing game which really has never put fear into secondarys will be affected by the hamstring injury K. Mcardell sustained. Brad Johnson will be under heavy pressure all day and does not have the same running attack he had last year. Offensively G.Bay will run right at TBay and look for the tight ends to play a big role in the offense this game. DO NOT worry about Favres overblown thumb injury. The thumb was not the problem against the Eagles Monday nite it was the rain that got the tape wet which caused him to have a hard time hanging on to the ball. FYI this is not a broken thumb it is a hairline fracture under the thumb nail. Look for the packers to win the battle on special teams changes on the return game have been made. The Warren Sapp factor. What you are reading in the papers and hearing is the company line but believe me what you have read and what has been said in private are 2 completely stories. Packers offensive line is a very close group and they are going to be very nasty when it comes to blocking nothing illegal just very physical with a point to prove. Every time they block especially Sapp there is going to be extra effort given. Players have had this game circled since the end of last year. The coaching staff started preparing for this game back in preseason. Packers even changed their travel time in prepartion for this game. So from top to bottom this is Green Bays statement game. My projected score is Green Bay 34 T.Bay 10.

I agree totally if Ahman Green could hold on to the damn ball. With the parity in the NFC this season Greens fumble problems may be the difference between a superbowl appearance and sitting at home in January.

Who is going to play QB for Green Bay? The one they have listed to start is 0-5 su and 1-4 ats at Tampa his last 5. The Packers averaged 14 points in those 5 losses. As too your point of Tampas running game not being the same as last year, it sucked last year too. Farve in those 5 losses is over 3-1 int to td ratio.

Hmm and your from Milwaukee. As unbiased as it gets.

BIAS?

BIAS?

I pick games based on information, matchups, motivation and least of all trends. Everything is different year to year game to game so trends are on the low end of totum for me. Tampa running game which you say sucked last year still had Alstott who was a thorn in Gbay ass. Packers have acquired Grady Jackson and tj slaughter in the past 2 weeks and Jackson already has paid huge dividends for them the addition of Slaughter will be another huge addition starting today, T. Bay by losing Alstott severely hurts their offense. They like to get 5 players out when they pass and he was Johnsons protecter. As I said offensive line of Packers man for man is going to pound on Tampa defensive every play until the whistlew blows. Tampa will wear down in the second half and be beaten down to the point of quitting.

You are starting to sound alittel like a homer. I to am a proud Pack fan. But i said alot of what you did this week last week. Pack has new life Vikes lose. Pack will role on Philly a team with little Of's. Then the clock ran down and the pack had another loss. Green does fumble but I wont even pick on him because he does so much. I just wish we had someone who could cover in the backfield. We get beat because of our pass D'fs. Now I do believe the Pack is the play here because there getting 4 points. Im not sure about this pounding business and there going to kill TB. But +4 is right side. We may still lose SU.

Turnovers

Turnovers

I don't like the game at all in my opinion the Packers are turning the ball over way to much. Green tends to fumble in the hot weather and his back up is also a fumbler. Every week the Packers offense looks great but the turnovers do them in. Good luck in your plays this week.

Just an opinion from someone far from being a homer, or a fan of either team in this matchup. After seeing the repulsive and classless show of DISRESPECT that Sapp showed toward the Pack and their coach on National TV last year, and football, I believe that this Pack team will really show up for this one. Sapp is so busy with his slavery speaches and self promotion that this is a giant team distraction.
Gruden would have served his team well last year by making some attempt to smooth that tasteless ordeal over, but he choose to agree with Sapp. The inmates are running the asylum!!

One of my favorite quotes from Jurassic Park, the movie, might apply here, "They were so busy proving they Could,.......they forgot to consider if they Should". I regularly compete in sports at a high level and do not remember every win,..........but every loss or event like last years game is Remembered FOREVER!!

I truly expect and hope that the BAD KARMA catches up with the Bucs today!!

Keep it Positive, Topdog
