I make my bets at Sportsbook.com. Right now they currently have Detroit +3 @ +110. I've seen this line 3 or 4 times from them this year. Twice last week with Atlanta +3 +110 & SF +3 +110 (both badly losing ats). I also remember about 3 weeks ago on Monday night with Jacksonville +3 +110 (another loser). It seems whenever they give those odds its usually on a pretty popular dog and the trend has not played well at all ats, not even if you bought a point or two to even the money odds out. I love Detroit tomorrow, but I hate getting those odds from them. I'd prefer a -105 or -110.

Am I looking to far into this or might the books know a little more than us?

Yep......I have seen that happen tonite myself.....GB started -3.5 and it moved to 3 thru the day, first @ -110 then creeping to +105. They like -3 just fine, I guess and are begging for more Detroit money. I stay the hell away from those, and if I'm in early.....i would hope to be on GB this time.......who knows, but thats what it smells like. GL

I'll probably lighten up on my wager if I take anything at all. It does seem they are begging for $ on Detroit. But who knows, it is Thanksgiving and maybe this will be the only time it will cash.

Let's rethink this one. The line goes down but the majority of betters are on GB? That tells me they will get more GB money.Yet the line went down. Det may be the way to go.

Over is the way to go. GB doesn't run and all Det will want to do is expose GB secondary. OVER it is.

Generally the public wants to bet Detroit on Turkey Day. Throw in that GB has a peek ahead situation (Dallas) and Detroit looked so bad lately the game smells all the way around. Isnt this the same line that NYG just laid 4 days ago in Detroit? And the Giants are no GB.

The line makes me think GB. But only an action junkie plays this game.

OK
You are thinking to much, if you like Det, then take the +3+110 or buy the half or full point to +4

But so far this year, fading Dallas, GB and NE has been painfull

do you really think sportbook.com is that smart?

sun - the line on that one closed around 2 or 2.5. It does smell fishy though. I just keep thinking Fatve may have one of those bad days with turnovers. We usually see it when least expected. And of course the look ahead situation plays a factor as well. I think it plays a really big factor.

T - I don't know if sportsbook is that smart or not, but i've also taken all those bets with the great odds and got punished. I really wanted to know what everyone else thought about the situation.

favre vs kitna

favre vs kitna

favre hasnt thrown an int in last 2 games(6 tds, O int L2)--though got a gift with MIN defenders doing their best tip drill in end zone LW.

as lines fluctuate--this isnt an exact science--though info i'm using---last two times GB at -3 this year

week 5 GB @ home (-3) 20-27 LOSS outright with 1 td and 2 picks--and losing TO battle

week 6 GB @ home (-3) 17-14 PUSH vs redskins with 0 tds and 2 picks

this was when they were still exclusively one threat offense--searching for running game. not that i think grant is legit threat to keep defense honest

last two for det at +3 were week 1 a win @ OAK 36-21 (kitna 3td 2 int) and LW's loss vs NYG 10-16 (kitna 1td 3 ints). In reading through the stats--the constant thread for bith these temas in these games were the FUMBLES. these two squads fumble ALOT.

i dont think kitna wont throw a pick--but i do think martz will have him on point TW vs very good GB D, able to get disruptive pass rush from line--with arguably the best pair of cover corners in league.

detroit needs help from defense to truly have chance in games this year. forcing turnovers that shorten field and help offense has been the formula to winning fb for lions. they werent able to win TO battle last couple--and i DO think they will here.

GB has yet to hit that bump in the road (on the road) as are perfect 4-0 ats and su when traveling this yr.

the team with better balance on offense and better defense LOSES today. detroit uses all three phases to win (and keep under is my thought)

just revisiting this real quick. detroit proved to be another loser. also, last week they had st louis +3 @ +110 and wash +3 @ +110 both losers as well. that's 0-6 on all the ones i can remember.

this week they have seattle +3 @ +105 and tampa +3 @ +110.
