I took +110 9 1/2 under. Echols was stopped 3 yrs ago by Ikeke in 10. He hasn't won a fight in nearly 4 yrs, took this one on 2 weeks notice and he's pretty much shot. I'm convinced if Green goes for the KO then it happens. I took it for 3 hund.

I agree

Another positive is Echols fighting style, he's not gonna run all night, he'll be throwing bombs trying to get Green out of there. Esp since Green has been hurt by lessor punchers, and Echols knows he's not winning a decision here coming in on 2 weeks notice.

The only thing that worried me is Green's colon problems, seems like ever since he lost 90% of his colon he's been reluctant to let his hands fly. Yes, he demolished Woods, and I played the under in that fight, but I also played the under in his last fight against Williams. Green looked content with winning a decision rather than stopping a guy he knew he could finish.

However, I go back to Echols fighting style and the 2 weeks notice, I think Echols will force Green to fight early, and he'll definitly fade late giving Green the opportunity to stop him even if he's not looking for it.

At +110 on 9.5 rounds its definitly worth a small play

Seems like a good number.
And no doubt, Echols is shot. Did I not hear correctly that Green and Echols are like midwestern buddies? Thus the slight possbiility of carrying his friend- something that Green has done before. I know I wasn't the only one who lost on the Green under to Ted Muller, a sparring partner and friend of his. Green was talking big before that fight then after looking at his F'n shoes for 10 rounds, says he needs to go some rounds.... same thing against Williams, said he couldn't see it going the distance, then " I needed to get some rounds" Despite having having 80% of his colon removed, he's still full of shit :mj07: :mj07: I'm not sold on the guy. The colon was supposedly the problem before Miranda. No excuse against Williams- he said he felt great, but he was still digging his shoelaces a bit. Hope you guys win that play and I may join you after getting some colon reports, etc.

My concern is that I read they were friends and have sparred several times. However Green said no friends once the bell rings...I hope he's sincere about that. I think since he allowed Williams to go the distance that he'll want to get Echols out of there in impressive fashion. He needs his stock to rise so I believe he gets him out. If green doesn't stop him then I'll be convinced he carried him. I still like the wager and added another 2 hund.

I missed the comment the 1st time but Punch was on to something. Apparently Green pulled out for undisclosed reasons. The fight is OFF and they already have a replacement fighter. Perhaps we got a break. We can't predict whats going on in a fighters head. Since Green wasn't 100% ready then I'm glad the fight is off.
