only at -140 when do you see maddux at a price like that?? he is haveing an off year but still feel w/that price is the way to go!
i myself am not touching it,have enough going already,but if i didn't i would definitely jump on it.

At first glance is looks like a gift, but then you check out Burnett and the dude has given up 2 runs in 21

Last 3 Maddux has a 4.95 ERA Burnett .84

that's why i like maddux and why i don't like burnett. of all the years i'vwe bet baseball i give a pitcher 3 good starts along w/3 bad starts. and this is a good case. maddux has had 3 bad outings while on the other hand its vise a versa w/burnett.

i think maddux will perform the way he is use to performing and also think burnett will get lit up

like i said i'm not playing this game already have enough but i would definitely take this game if i didn't

I agree with jmiseus here. I think that is a real pretty price for a proven pitcher.

What scares me is Atlanta has to hit.And so far they couldn't hit out of a wet paper bag.Also must admit a little bad feeling after Furcal kicked the ball and cost me last nite.

Maddux is the proven pitcher and FLA has had trouble scoring lately. I just hope Burnett's streak of good pitching runs out.

I am still passing, but will be pulling for the Braves.
