I don't have a strong feeling on either the side or total in this matchup, but I think it's probable that CLG will have a hard dose of brutal reality against a WPG squad who are much better on both sides of the ball than CLG is. This is especially true on defence. Like my high school football coach used to say, "defense wins in big games". I expect CLG to be flying high and to have a lot of false confidence after thier big phoney win vs EDM last week. EDM actually didn't play too badly in that game, the Esks were able to march up and down the field with relative ease. Of course, when you turn the ball over TEN times it's going to be hard to win. I'm still shaking my head wondering how that could happen. CLG is probably thinking they have some magic on their side right now, but it's just not help them here. WPG will win the Grey Cup, I'm just a little leary of the spread...I expected it to be higher, maybe in the 7.5 - 9 point range, so seeing the line at 6.5 raises my eyebrows a bit. However, I'm still confident that WPG should come out strong in this game, so....

ok guys the big day is here...

Since the lines are out (tuesday) all i'm seeing is a win by Winnipeg. They have the offense, the defense and the stats shows an easy win but hey, it's the final and anything can happen right? I won't make any offical picks and will end my first year of capping here in the cfl at 26-10-1. Pretty happy about it and expect to do the same next year.

However, IF i had to pick a parlay for that game, i would lean on winn-7 and over 53. A teaser with Win -1 and over 47 would be nice too but as i wrote, no play for me. Enjoy the final, it should be exciting to watch !
