It's snapper season, so last night we grilled two large red snapper halves on a round weber grill at a buddy's house.

Get the grill temp to about 350. Season top of smaller halves with salt, pepper and cayenne. Top with thin sliced lemon and onion. Cook skin side down on indirect heat until flaky. Remove lemon and onion, and set down on platter for self service. It was awesome.

I didn't take pics, but will next time. Will do it again in the next week or 2.

One of my favorite fish to eat along with striped bass, fluke and haddock. I love the summertime and love to go fishing and catch those babies out of the sea.

I think there should be a rule in this forum, no posting without pics.

I've been promised some snapper today from a nutbag that went out this morning in horrible conditions. He sounded drunk. If i get it, ill grill it tonight or Sunday afternoon on a round weber. I will take pics this time.
