I lost my first GT game this season last week when I was on FSU +2.5 and they fell short by 3 fumbling into the endzone with no time left. Well, fuck, you know, FSU coulda gotten beaten worse anyway if Nesbitt hadn't gone down. So I chalk that one up more as a loss than something I got fucked on. Whatever, the longer you gamble the more you realize lucks often the case and all that matters is whether you win or lose, not what shoulda happened. Anyway, onto tomorrows game @ UNC.
First, I'd go against tech 9 times outta 10 in this situation in years past. But, coach PJ has this team disciplined and focused so you know we will at least fight. Our 2 losses have come by a combined 10 points. Our Defense keeps us in any game. So I love getting more than a FG here.
I really see this game as a coin flip, getting 4.5 is gravy. If tech was laying 4.5, or even 3, I'd have a hard time not taking UNC. I do think this game will be that close.
Second, Nesbitt (AJC reports) is near 100%, but even if not, I still have faith in Jaybo to run the offense despite how shitty he looked against FSU. Hes a good option QB who's run it his entire life. He just had a freshman moment during he FSU game, and I think he'll bounceback should we need him.
