never been one to make a big deal about anything i post, whether it be a big plays in hoops, football, mac, horizon, or whatever. dont intend on this being any different. ive decided, however, that my passion for college football and basketball capping has grown to the point where developing my own website and service made the most sense. obviously, past instances show there are those who look down on this type of decision, but at this point, its in my best interest. all i can hope is that my info and writeups over the last years have helped some guys out. i know every one of my posts have been made selflessly and with good intentions.

ive already expressed my gratitude to jack and let him know that i certainly respect his rules about service posting protocol. ive met so many good guys here that it would be impossible to just not post anymore. all i can hope is that guys at least understand where im comin from with all the time that i have invested in daily writeups as well as the time i plan to invest to make what i do even better. to some, this is a hobby. and back in the day, it was that for me too. but i guess i just eat this sh1t up and have an insatiable desire to handicap and scout as many teams and players as possible from coast to coast.

like me, dont like me, whatever. i just know ive done my best to try and make a good contribution over the years and now ive decided to take the next step and challenge myself to be even better. i know there a lot of bullshit services out there who give guys like fletcher (running an honest one) a black eye. i just know that ive always been driven to do whatever it takes to succeed, and i wont be letting a few scumbags or piss ants keep me from trying to be one of the best.

i know jack has very specific rules about advertising and posting web addresses, and i certainly plan on respecting his wishes. betroyal is a mutual partner for both of us and a sponsor here, so i will just be ambiguous and say im linked up to betroyal on their site and will say no more about it out of respect to jack and wont even mention the site.

trying to get a head start on college football pretty much explains why i have been on a posting hiatus, and it will certainly occupy most of my time in the coming months. but to just up-and-leave madjacks for good aint happenin. spang, sun tzu, bombs, fla, cooz (and that doesnt even begin to mention everyone), you guys are true class acts. one line cant appropriately say "thanks" enough.

while ill still be here, im retiring (lol) from the mlb forum and pro forums. so scott- you can count on all my time being devoted to debating usc football with you, lmao!

see you around as time allows. posts might be fewer in #s, but still want to make a contribution ( i cant just ask jack to retire my alias, ala highroller :) ). again, thanks fellas.

I'm an entreprenurial type of guy myself, so I cannot wish bad on anyone who wants to go that route. Yes, I'm disappointed to see the guy leave, I enjoyed reading the posts very much, related very well to the sarcastic style and personality, and felt like I knew the guy from his posts, and a healthy dose of winners. Id never pay for picks, dont know anyone who would unless they are a horrible handicapper, but I never would wish bad will on anyone starting a business, tough business indeed, but he has shown that he knows his stuff very well, so I'd just say good luck to you g and hope you come by now and then, was with you all the way on a good portion of your posted plays through the months/years, be good.....

Congrats on the new business venture gman!

We've known each other via the Internet for a long time now. The ole W-talk days were truly an adventure!

I'm glad you made it over here to Madjacks and got away from all the BS!

I wish you well my friend. You're a good guy and I hope this works out for you.

dont know anyone who would unless they are a horrible handicapper

You'd be surprised.

Business owners who like the action, have more than enough money to spend on whatever they want, but no time to spend on handicapping.

There are plenty of these people who are looking for a no-nonsense handicapper whose handicapping skills will, more often than not, snag them a few winners and make watching the action a little more thrilling.

These people are more than willing to pay a fee for a reputable handicapper.

I suppose, I havent ran into one, but a lot of people also have that macho mentality that they like picking the games themselves and thats part of the thrill, but, if I were to pay for somebody, gman would be at the top of my list, no question, I've read his stuff and he knows what he's talking about for sure, as I only say that because I know/knew also and checked into a lot of what he said

I looked for about an hour and couldn't come up with your site (not that I was going to pay). I wanted to see you prices (500 a season?)! Good luck, after watching the movie Undertow I expect you'll get a lot of customers.

Go Bowling Green.

Good Luck G you will do fine have got mad at you a few times then to forget to look for the 2 beside name to many of the same name :) Give me a call on wv cell Jack has number back home with my dad and Vegas cell t-mobile does not work here. I can give youa few tips that were passed on to me and others I learned. You will be fine we fight a uphill battle because of low lives.

Hell my investors took one on the chin this week it happens can't win every week but have some things that will help you out if you want them , always willing to try and help out a honest service. A honest service is no different then a investment broker if you have the right investors, I don't back many but I will say you will do the right thing just somethings I can tell you I was told and have learned the hard way.

So just get number or email me and will share them with you, now if you use them or not up to you might want to tweak some but will help.

Biggest thing you will here sometime is if your are so good why run a service, for me it is because of taxes.

Do a corp charter will explain later really helps for taxes.

Good luck

fletcher -- i will be in touch. thanks for extending the offer.

nysports -- i know where youre coming from. ive decided to take this next step because i know that i can offer more than just a selection with nothing to back it up. the whole reason ive decided to make the jump is because of the dearth of truly good information services. would i pay money for a pick and nothing else? no chance. but i trust my stuff and am confident that there are very few will go to the lengths i wll go to in order to gather and post all kinds of information. appreciate all your good words over the seasons and have certainly enjoyed all our conversations.

stomie -- for sh1ts and giggles, it is there (partners). you had me thinkin it disappeared for a sec, lol. in reference to bowling green, those boys are gonna be friggin g-o-o-d this year. im guessing this will be brandon's last year there before a bigger program snatches him up. hes a great offensive mind. bg will probably be near the top of the nation in scoring. and jacobs will probably be a legit heisman candidate

dickie -- thanks for those words. they mean a lot man. not sure if it was intentional, but your choice of words was incredibly coincidental

weasel -- as long as browns have idiots like winslow, baltimore wont have to start worrying any time soon. like you said -- winslow/edwards/suggs coulda been quite a 3some.

Gman -- you've always brought a level of intelligence to the board which I for one appreciated. Your info will be missed, but I completely understand the want to be paid for all of the work you put in (based on the raw info and thoughts you posted it must have felt like a full time job at points).

I've always felt posting what to play was the easy part, it's the why that's hard, and you always gave us concise reasoning as to why a particular angle was strong. I can't speak for everyone but that was always appreciated on my end.

Best of luck with your new business. Based on how you carried yourself here, I would imagine it will be very successful.
