Won't believe it until it is official. Message board rumors at this point. This isn't even an upgrade even though he's going from Asst to HC. Vandy is trash. Maybe if they got Jay Cutler and Earl Bennet back he could make a bowl game. I'll be standing at the alter before Vandy makes another bowl game.

nevermind I saw it was $1.6 guaranteed with some "incentives" that he will never achieve that would get it to a maximum of $3 Mil.
Definitely interesting, wouldn't have thought. Maybe he's interested in job stability for a HC job. Might be good for both.
I think it is a good hire for Vandy if it goes. Who else are they going to get?:shrug:

Agree! If your not going to win conference championships you better give people a reason to be there and offense provides that. Having siad that,it will take several years for him to get the kids he wants, and recruiting at vandy will be harder for his "system" than if he was at a troy type of school so it will be intresting to see how this one works out. If I were him(easy for me to say) I would go for a big east/acc job where I could recruit the guys I need and have a chane of wining a conference championship.

He talked to numerous coaches after the heisman ceremony last night and said there was no deal. As of right now there is still no deal. Like I said he likely will take the Job but quit fucking running your mouth like you have inside info, because you don't
